Quantum-South selected as TOP 100 most promising Global Startups competing in SLINGSHOT 2021. Shortlisted initially as Top 500 from thousands of applications (over 150 countries) is proceeding to the final phase of the competition.
The announcement was made on October 7th, 2021 and Quantum-South was selected as one of the TOP 100 global startups.
Quantum-South is participating in Slingshot Singapore 2021, Asia’s most exciting deeptech competition. In the fifth edition, Slingshot is looking for startups in four emerging challenge sectors to showcase game-changing solutions and products: Frontier Digital Technologies, Health & Wellness, Smart Cities and Sustainability.
As part of this select shortlisted startups Quantum-South got an exclusive opportunity to potentially collaborate with corporate partners. Each corporate is sponsoring problem statements, and Quantum-South has the chance to tackle one or several of these problem statements. This unique challenge enables to create co-innovation opportunities and potential pilots and business opportunities. Quantum-South focused on aviation and logistics use cases, particularly fuel optimization, a use case being addressed since the participation in the Airbus Quantum Computing Challenge.
SLINGSHOT 100: GEAR UP
As a Top 100 Global Startup, Quantum-South has exclusive access to SLINGSHOT Gear Up, to be held on 19-21 October 2021. Gear Up offers an exclusive opportunity to receive dedicated virtual mentorship from Slingshot’s network of international ecosystem players and attend masterclasses to help Quantum-South scale strategically with industry know-how beyond the competition.
Slingshot will help with Pitch Coaching sessions with dedicated advisory from Industry Mentors in order to have a Pitch-Perfect for the Finals. Joaquin Fernandez, Quantum-South Co-Founder, took the lead to pitch in the finals and the Q&A sessions.
